Nowadays, there are more opportunities for people to travel around the world. Some people travel abroad to relax and to visit local attractions. Whereas for others, its an opportunity to explore other cultures and to experience new and sometimes bizarre things. Either way, its a great chance to spend time with your family or friends away from everyday busy life. The world is full of exciting and beautiful places to visit. It also broadens your horizons, educates you and gives you a chance to meet new people and to learn new languages. Unfortunately, there are some downsides to travelling. If you want to visit exotic places, the chances are you would have to get vaccinated. Also, in poor countries and popular tourist destinations, there is a greater possibility of being pickpocketed or even mugged. And you have to bear in mind that even though English is a global language and believed to be spoken by the majority of people, you may still have difficulties communicating with local people.
