Heydar Alirza oglu Aliyev was born on 10 may 1923 in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan SSR. ( 10.05.1923 year - 12.11.2003 years )Graduated from the local pedagogical College and then the historical faculty of the Baku state University. In 1938-1941, he attended the Azerbaijan industrial Institute. After M. Azizbayov. On 15 June 1993 he was elected Chairman of the Supreme Council of Azerbaijan. From June 24, 1993, he was acting President of the Azerbaijan Republic. In October 1993, he was elected President of Azerbaijan. Again this post was re-elected in October 1998.
