We live in a terraced house in Edinburgh. It's more than 150 years old and the rooms are big, with high ceilings. Most of them have a fireplace, even my bedroom, but we don't have fires very often because we have central heating now. Fortunately, our close neighbours are quiet so we don't hear much noise through the walls. I wish we had a garden, though. You can't do much in a small back yard.
