New Year begins on first of January. People wish theirs friends and families "Happy New Year!" and send greetings cards. On New Years Eve many people their families, friend and neighbors. They go to bed after midnight to "see the New Year in" at 12 oclock. When Big Ben strikes, they all hug and kiss their friends and shout "Happy New Year".
